I never wasted any of my time speaking to a sales person or sitting through a long high pressure sales pitch. I just emailed my photos of my  house to SidingBroker.com and they took care of the rest.

SidingBroker.com saved me over $5000 on my siding project and I am getting higher quality materials and a great looking installation by a certified professional installer.

How to take the photos of each wall and over hangs

It is very easy to take the photos needed. It only takes about 10-15 minutes of your time. Please follow the directions below. Set your digital camera at the highest resolution. This will insure accurate measurements. Also you will need a yard stick.

Take other photos of peaks, dormers and balconies and any rotted areas. These photos are used for evaluation (Not for measurements) so we can include in the estimate any replacement of rotted wood section's that need to be replaced before the siding is installed or any other structural issues. These can be shot at any angle and do not require a straight on shot.

Very Important! Take all measurement photos straight on. (Not at an Angle, Our software requires straight on shots for our software to measure your walls accurately)

Step 1

Take a photo of the front and back of your house. We use these 2 photos to edit the photo and input the color and type of siding you have chosen. We then email these photos back to you within 48 hours along with your estimate.

These photos help you get an idea of what your home will look like with the color and siding that you have chosen.

(Colors may vary with photos, samples of siding can be mailed to the homeowner for exact color)

Step 2

Place the yard stick on 1st wall as shown below. Start taking photos of each wall with yard stick going counter clockwise around the house as shown below.

Right side of house

Right side of the house

These 2 photos below are from one wall (Left side and right side) because the house next to it was too close to get a full shot. Take 2 photos in this situation and we can edit and combine both photos together to get measurements

Back side of the house

"full view shot was possible"

Left side of the house

These 2 photos below are from one wall (Left side and right side) because the house next to it was too close to get a full shot. Take 2 photos in this situation and we can edit and combine both photos together to get measurements

Over hang photos.

Below is one photo of the over hang on the front of house for measurement, and 2 photos of the siding photos that we used for the other over hang measurements
